Event: A Cap Classique Showcase: South Africa's Sparkling Stars

Organised in conjunction with Cap Classique Day (11 September), this event promises an exciting and educational afternoon.

This special showcase will feature 9 wines:

7 Cap Classiques:

1. Five renowned Cap Classiques already available in Singapore, sourced from two distinct terroirs—the cool, coastal Hemel-en-Aarde and the warmer Robertson valley—showcasing the diversity of South African sparkling winemaking.
   
   
2. A showstopping vintage: 2011 "Anna Louise" from Domaine Des Dieux. Crafted exclusively from Chardonnay using the cuvée (first press), this rare wine spent 7 years on lees and another 4 years on cork—an extraordinary 11 years of aging. The result is a sparkling wine with notes of rich brioche, citrus, ripe pear, peach, baked apple, and creamy lemon curd, underpinned by vibrant acidity and layered complexity. Only 2,795 bottles were produced, making this a truly exceptional and rare pour.
   
   
3. Two exclusive Cap Classique imports, brought into Singapore specially for this session. During the event, participants will vote on which they’d like to see made available here.

2 Still Wines (a Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir) from Domaine Des Dieux—the very base wines that form the foundation of the featured Cap Classiques.
