Wine Tasting Notes:
On colour
Rainbow’s End Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 can be described as deep ruby with an opaque core and a bright, youthful rim, giving a vivid and concentrated appearance in the glass.
On the nose
The nose offers intense blackcurrant and blackberry with hints of black cherry, layered with cedar, pencil shavings and a subtle leafy, herbal note typical of Cabernet Sauvignon.
On the palate
On the palate it is dry and full-bodied, showing dense dark fruit, firm but ripe tannins and fresh acidity, with well-integrated oak adding notes of spice and tobacco to a long, structured finish.
On the whole
A classic, firmly structured Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon with concentrated dark fruit, polished tannins and refined oak-driven complexity.
Can be enjoyed now but is anticipated to reach its optimum in 2-4 years time.
