The Pinotage Festival 2026

The Pinotage Festival returns to Singapore for its second edition β€” 13–21 September, extending into October with Pinotage Takes Over. This year's theme, 101 Years On: Pinotage, the Shapeshifter, marks 101 years since the grape was first bred in Stellenbosch.

Guided throughout by Annette Scarfe MW, the festival opens with four representative wines β€” B Vintners MΓ©thode Ancestrale PΓ©t Nat, Illimis Pinotage, Beeslaar Pinotage and Survivor Cellar Master Series "Reunion" β€” a starting point into the broader range explored across a blending workshop, masterclass and wine dinner.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Pinotage Festival?

The Pinotage Festival is a multi-day celebration of Pinotage wines, with different experiences designed to showcase the category in distinct ways across several days. Rather than a single-format event, the festival brings together a Masterclass, a wine dinner, and a blending workshop so guests can explore pinotage wines through different formats and levels of depth.

How many wines will be available to taste?

The number of wines will vary slightly depending on the experience. The tasting event will feature about 9 wines, while the wine dinner will showcase the fullest range at about 11 wines, with the other events sitting between those two points.

Can wines be purchased to take home?

Yes, wines will be available for purchase from the tasting venue and the masterclass venue. At the wine dinner, guests will also be able to purchase wines, although these will be offered for home delivery rather than cash-and-carry.

Can I buy tickets on-site?

On-site tickets will only be available for the tasting sessions at BoundbyWine, and only if spaces remain available at the time. For the other festival experiences, guests should book in advance through the event page.

I’ve bought a ticket but can’t attend after all. What can I do?

Tickets are transferable, but not refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to another guest.
