Wine Tasting Notes:
On colour
This 2023 Chenin shows a bright lemon colour with a hint of green at the rim, reflecting youthful freshness and good concentration from old vines.
On the nose
Aromas of quince, peach and citrus zest mingle with dry hay, fynbos and a gentle nutty, savoury note from discreet oak ageing.
On the palate
Dry, medium-bodied and driven by lively acidity, it offers precise quince, stone fruit and citrus flavours with a fine, saline, lightly pithy finish and subtle creamy texture.
On the whole
A focused, saline old-vine Chenin Blanc with pure quince and citrus fruit and a long, poised finish.
